The Second "Park"

Greetings from Siesta Key Beach, Florida! It is sometimes called "the best beach in America". It's got beautiful, turquoise-colored water. But it's especially famous for its "white powder" sand. Here are some pictures:

Note that on the 3rd picture there is a red U.G.O (Unidentified Ground Object). That is NOT a piece of garbage, but a sort of beach object--a pail or something similar. The beach is EXTREMELY clean and beautiful.

P.S. By April 22--Earth Day-- I have big plans to make an "Earth Party" where we teach people about the environment. I'll keep you posted.

Greetings from Sarasota, Florida! Here is my first hidden natural "park". It is actually part of an RV parking lot in Savannah, Georgia! It was a sort of rocky, swampy area. Crocodiles might visit it sometimes! We also saw a really beautiful water bird when we first came into the "park". It's saddening that we couldn't take a picture of it. Anyway, here are the pictures that we took:
Notice that on this picture (above) there is a piece of garbage (cup) in the reeds. That is polluting.

A Road Trip And Other Matters

Hi Everyone,
It's been a long time since I've written. Well, I'm just going to inform you of a few things right now.
First, I'm going to start working on the 1st ever "series" on this blog!! Over the winter break, I'm going on a road trip toward Florida, and I'm going to document all the natural wonders we can find in the South. I'm going to send back photos and even videos! I hope all you guys can continue looking!
Second, my friend and I have had an idea: a sort of "Earth festival" on Earth Day (April 22). In a park, we could set up booths about global warming. We could serve Earth cookies!
If you have any ideas, please, please write them down in the comments section.
See you in the South!

Hi! I'm really sorry, but I couldn't find the story about sharks, and I looked at most of the news websites. Here's something else though, something that would interest Earth lovers like us.

You guys should read it. But the thing is, people should learn how to pick up their own garbage, and not have some other people who care about other the environment clean it up for them. Even so, I love the fact that the Earth has not been forgotten, with people like you guys and me and those other guys there.

This week was Literacy week at my school and a pretty cool person came to our school. His name was Michael Uslon, the producer of Batman movies, such as The Dark Knight. He talked about how he went from being an ordinary boy to a really important person. The 1st step: TO GET OFF YOUR COUCH. Do what you love. And remember to stick your foot into the crack in the door (meaning opportunities). Those were just a couple of things he said. It was VERY, VERY inspiring. I actually gave him a card that had the name of this blog written on it!!! :)
